Nazida Islam

Nazida has more than 16 years of experience setting up and structuring funds and companies as well as handling company secretarial, administrative, legal, and compliance issues. ​

Nazida started her career in the global business sector in Mauritius with Cim Global Business Ltd (now known as IQEQ) in the Corporate Services Department, where she oversaw professional teams. She was in charge of a diverse portfolio of international clients, including high-net-worth individuals and global funds as well as foreign companies, GBC 1, GBC 2, collective investment schemes, CIS managers, and domestic companies. She went on to join Oak in 2016. ​

Nazida graduated from the University of Mauritius with a BSc in Economics. She went on to become a qualified member of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland and was admitted as an Associate of the Institute.​

Outside of work​

Nazida likes gardening flowers, vegetables and fruits. She enjoys buying the seeds and small plants, feels relaxed seeing the beautiful flowers and loves cultivating the fruits and vegetables. In addition to that, she loves connecting with nature by going trekking with her family whenever the kids are free and weather permits. ​
