Our Mauritius office is seeking a Director - Operations to join the Trust & Corporate and Global Shared Services team on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role is to serve as an executive director on the Oak Mauritius business’ operating boards and execute fiduciary duties, perform client director role for certain clients to ensure the overall delivery of a high-quality service to clients and liaise with client, including attendance of board meetings where required. The candidate will set SMART objectives for the team, mentor and coach staff as well as develop the teams in line with Oak’s People Management Framework. General responsibilities include maintaining highest standards of confidentiality and security in terms of client affairs or company business and papers and in all  aspects of your role, display and adhere to Oak’s vision and values of Client Focus, Excellence in Execution, Integrity, Innovation, Value, Development and Leadership. 

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial services environment preferably with management experience, proven leadership qualities, advanced technical knowledge of the global business and fiduciary services sector and in particular the products and services which Oak Mauritius offers and holds a relevant professional qualification e.g. ACCA, ICSA, STEP. 

The successful candidate must be willing to travel daily to the Oak office located at Cascavelle Business Park.
