Scott McPherson

About

Scott is a distinguished attorney with over 15 years of experience in the Trust and Fiduciary industry.​

Scott began his career in 2008 with Zen Trust in South Africa. In 2014, Scott joined Momentum as the Trust department's legal advisor where he dealt with financial, insurance, trust, and estates planning. In 2019, Scott joined Oak as the Operations Manager for our Mauritius jurisdiction and relocated to Guernsey in 2021 to re-enter legal practise as the Managing Associate of the Trust and Private Client Team at Babbé LLP. After two years at Babbe LLP, Scott re-joined our Oak Guernsey family as the director of the Trust and Corporate team. ​

Scott earned his first master's degree in 2015 and completed his second 2018, specialising in estates law, graduating as the top student in the programme. ​

Outside of work​

When Scott is not playing or watching sports, he can be found in the kitchen cooking up a delicious meal for his friends and family.
