Sophie Le Marquand

About

Sophie has over 20 years experience in the trust and corporate services industry, which she acquired through her position as a senior-level trust officer for a large law firm-owned trust company. ​

Sophie joined Oak in 2007 and has since advanced to management level. She has received the ICSA International prize for the best examination performance and the prize for the best financial accounting paper while she was a student and has gone on to become an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. ​

Outside of Work​

Sophie lives in daily awe of how beautiful our planet is and how fortunate we are, a staunch advocate for sustainability; she and her family enjoy gardening and caring for their home grown vegetables, and are currently cultivating growing a chestnut, oak, and beech tree. She also encourages purchasing pre-owned items, upcycling, and keeps her emissions down by riding her e-bike to and from work. Additionally, she has pollinator gardens and a compost bin at home, which has reduced our household waste. ​
