In his role, Jibran will lead operational strategy and innovation, drawing on nearly two decades of experience in financial services. He will work closely with Kim Sgarlata, Group CEO, and the Executive Committee to optimise Oak’s operating platform, enhance organisational efficiency, and support the execution of strategic mergers and acquisitions. His remit will span enterprise-wide transformation, leveraging technology and data to drive scalability, improve client experience, and ensure operational resilience as Oak continues to grow.
Jibran previously held senior roles at HSBC, including Chief Product Officer for Embedded Finance, and Digital Transformation Lead, where he managed multi-million dollar portfolios and led global teams to deliver innovative financial products and large-scale transformation programs. Before HSBC, he spent a decade at Capco, where he founded and scaled digital innovation teams that introduced cutting-edge technologies such as blockchain and AI to major financial institutions. He began his career as a Software Developer at UBS, and throughout his journey has combined deep technical expertise with strategic leadership—strengthening Oak Group’s commitment to operational excellence and forward-thinking innovation.
