We are looking for a motivated Trainee Accountant to join our Fund Accounting team in Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic and growing business, while working towards a professional qualification. In this role, you will support the delivery of high quality financial reporting and operational outputs across a diverse portfolio of entities, including venture capital funds and associated structures, working closely with experienced colleagues in a collaborative environment.
As part of the team, you will be involved in a broad range of activities including bookkeeping, reconciliations, assisting with management accounts and supporting audits and financial reporting. You will also contribute to fund operations such as capital account schedules and work closely with administration teams to ensure accurate records are maintained. We are looking for someone with a strong academic background, excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude, who is keen to learn, develop their skills and build a long term career in fund accounting within a client focused organisation.
