Our Jersey business is seeking a Manager (VASP) to join the Compliance team. This role carries responsibility for the AML, CFT and CPF framework—covering prevention, detection and reporting—for Oak Jersey’s VASP Client Entities where appointed as MLCO or MLRO. The successful candidate will support the development and enhancement of VASP specific policies and procedures, while working closely with the Head of Compliance Jersey and the Client Compliance Lead to ensure the day‑to‑day compliance and anti‑financial crime functions meet all regulatory and internal standards.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised industry qualification such as ICA, ACAMS, or an equivalent certification in AML Foundations for Crypto Assets and Blockchain. They will have at least seven years’ experience in the financial services sector, ideally with demonstrable management experience. Strong IT capability is essential, with knowledge of systems such as Unity or ViewPoint considered an advantage. A strong understanding of corporate, trust and fund structures is required, together with excellent knowledge of the AML legislative framework relevant to the role. The successful individual will possess outstanding organisational, prioritisation and time management abilities, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills.
