About
Angela has nearly 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, largely with a focus on compliance.
Angela has held various roles within CoSec, Compliance, Client Solutions, and Regulatory Compliance prior to joining Oak in 2021. Her responsibilities included ensuring that the business (and it’s client entities) complied with ever-changing legislation and regulations (including FATCA, CRS, the beneficial ownership regime, GDPR/Data Protection).
Angela is a Certified EU GDPR Practitioner, and in 2018 she won the ICSA award for Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
She earned a BSc in Sport and Health Sciences from the University of Exeter in 2011, and went on to earn an MSc in Exercise and Sports Science in 2013. In 2016 she studied and earned her ICSA Diploma, and in 2017 she gained her ICA Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering.
Outside of work
Angela enjoys exploring new countries and experiencing diverse cultures with Iceland being one of her favourites. She is a passionate sports fan and enjoys watching netball, NBA basketball as well as American football. You can also find her walking around the picturesque coast of Guernsey.
