Mark Chasey said:
“Attending this event has made me realise that promoting Guernsey is very much a team effort and has motivated me to explore what I can do in the future to support that effort, I'm pleased that James and I were able to forge some close relationships, my hope is that this fantastic event is held annually”.
James Tracey added:
“The week was extremely beneficial and provided numerous opportunities to meet new people and reconnect with our current contacts.
It was a pleasure to demonstrate how Guernsey provides a safe, secure, and stable environment for private wealth management and gave me to opportunity to discuss the use of Private Investment Funds as a flexible product with an industry-leading speed to market that supports family office investments.”
The week concluded with a business networking dinner and fundraiser for CoolPlay, a sport-based youth development programme that provides a safe space for children ages 5 to 18 to play sports after school. We were proud to sponsor this event, which raised over R300,000 for CoolPlay.
It is clear that Guernsey offers a breadth of solutions for South Africans and there are a variety of reasons to use Guernsey products and services, and the familiarity and long-standing connection between the two jurisdictions makes doing business straightforward.
